Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day 2008. It was fun to talk to the grandkids and have Law's over. It's been a sort of quiet, restful day. A prelude to a busy week. I'm sitting here looking at the thousands of blossoms on the fruit trees and praying they won't freeze. I need to replenish our food storage. Thoughts of my mom have flitted in and out of my head all weekend. I wish she and dad were here. There are days when it would be nice to have a moms shoulder to cry on. I guess that's my sisters are for. There are just some things that sisters do that no one else can. I am so thankful for my beautiful daughters and for their love and care. My life is a blessed one and I can't complain-although sometimes I do. Anyway, it's been a good day. Spring is going by way to fast, April needs to come again and start over. I can't wait to sit in the swing outside and watch the bees and smell the lemon thyme and lavender. Awe...spring what bliss!
Love and hugs,
Grandmavic
